imagine unclaimed assets found

unclaimed funds due you

“Fairness is what justice really is.”

– Potter Stewart

did you know?

Fact

Over 12 billion dollars from mortgage and tax overpays and other types of transactions is being held by the U.S. government agencies. Every year the government becomes a custodian to significant funds that rightfully belong to U.S. citizens. The agencies don't advertise that they have funds - these funds cannot be found by searching on the Internet. The government is being discrete because if unclaimed within a certain time, the money defaults to the government (escheats). If this happens, the money is permanently lost to the agency holding it and can not be recovered!

we help you claim your funds

If you have received a call or a letter from us, we have located assets in your name being held by a government agency. We need to act quickly! If a claim is not made in the allotted time by law, the funds get permanently acquired by the government agency holding them.

questions answered

How did you get this money?

We have relationships with various government agencies. We audit agencies’ archives and files in search of unclaimed funds due citizens like yourself.

how did you find me?

We use many different tools and methods to locate money recipients such as white pages, internet searches, archives, and special software. In some cases we team up with professional tracers and private investigators to find claimants.

how much can i obtain?

You will immediately be informed of the exact amount and location of your funds as soon as we sign a collection agreement with you.  This is due to the nature of our business – we get paid only when your refund is paid out. We never charge any upfront fees! You can find sample forms on the Services page.

how long will it take?

After we submit all required paperwork, it takes somewhere from 60 to  90 days for a government agency to process a claim. This is why it is important to start on the process as soon as possible. Once the claim is approved we will hold the check for 30 days to make sure there was no clerical mistake or miscalculation. Then we disburse your funds to you.

can't i just look for this money myself?

You can. However, it is unlikely that you will be able to find the funds on your own. Most assets we locate are not available by searching the Internet. As a rule, the government agencies will not notify of the assets they hold in their custody, neither do they easily disclose information about the funds. After all, if you don’t file a claim within an allotted time, they get to keep the funds! Research, attorney fees, and dealing with bureaucracy can be arduous and expensive. We know where to look and how to ask. We work hard to locate the funds and make sure our clients get their claims paid out.

how come i didn't know about the refund?

Government agencies do not make it a priority to look for the owner of a fund in their custody. Neither do they advertise anywhere on the Internet about the existence of these assets. Furthermore, they release information about these funds very reluctantly. The main reason is that they get to keep the money if it is not claimed within an allotted time. It takes specialized knowledge and skills to effectively communicate with the government agencies through the claim process resulting in a successful payout.

it sounds like a scam... how can I be sure it isn't?

We will never ask you to pay any money upfront! There is no out-of-pocket expense to you to process the claim. Our firm works on a contingency basis, and we receive a percentage of the claim only after the claim has been approved and paid. Our company is in good standing with all business, legal, and government agencies. All our documents are easy to read and understand, no legal jargon. All documents are signed in the presence of a licensed notary public local to your area. You are welcome to have your legal representation at signing if you wish. You are in good hands with CFG!

i am not comfortable signing legal documents with the company i just heard of. what should i do?

We encourage you to browse our website for more information and get acquainted with the documents we use. These are essentially agreements prepared by the state your funds are in.  These forms are available on our website under the Forms tab. We make sure they are written in an easy-to-understand language. All documents you need to sign pertain only to your specific claim and don’t give our company any power above that. All documents will be signed in the presence of a certified notary public. We take pride in what we do! You are in good hands!

is there a time limit on the process?

Yes. There is usually a short period of time when the funds can be collected. After that the funds default to the agency holding it and are no longer available for collection. This is why it is important to start processing your claim as soon as possible.

do i need an attorney?

The law does not require you to have an attorney while filing a claim in most cases. However, you can have an attorney present at signing our fee agreements in the presence of a notary public.

is it legal?

Absolutely! If we confirm that you are, in fact, eligible to claim these assets, then you have every right to claim them before they default to a government agency and are lost forever. It is also absolutely legal for our firm to act as an agent while guiding you through the claim process and dealing with government agencies on your behalf with proper documentation in place.
